Q.  How do you charge for flying the club’s aircraft?

A.  We charge a wet rate based on the Hobbs.  Cessna 172 is $92/hr, Arrow is $140/hr, Bonanza $175/hr.  This is as of January 2020 and are subject to change.

Q. Can I take my family on a trip in the planes and keep it for a few days?

A.  Yes.  You may take any of the planes for up to 10 days at a time.  (more if you have club officer approval)  Time charged is on Hobbs, not days checked out.

Q.  How much does it cost to be in the club?

A. $90 monthly dues, and 1/2 hour in the least expensive airplane if you do not fly at least 1 hour in the month.  These rates are subject to change, depending on fixed and variable costs. Required initial Fractional Ownership Membership buy-in subject to Board approval.

Q.  How far along do I need to be in getting my license to join?

A.  You can join the club if you have officer approval, generally at least a student pilot.

Q.  Do you have club instructors?

A.  Yes, we have three.

Q.  How many members are in your club?

A.  We have 45 members and that is a set amount.

Q.  Is it hard to schedule a plane with that many members?

A.  We use Flight Schedule Pro to book planes.  Several of our members do not fly regularly.  Plane availability is surprisingly great.
